Namgya Sherpa known as “MECHI”, (because he is the first Mt. Everest summiteers from Mechi Zone, Nepal) a permanent resident of Lelep V.DC – 8, Taplejung district (Mt. Kanchenjunga region) & now temporary resident of Kathmandu, Nepal is a very successful Sherpa mountain guide. He has started his carrier on trekking & mountaineering expedition field as a junior trekking assistance guide but coming to at this stage he has already made 7th countdown summit on Mt Everest. He has made twice summit on north Mt. Everest in spring 2007 and he was the first person who reached to the summit of Mt. Everest south in last spring 2008.
Now he is working for one of the expedition operator in Antarctica Mt. Vinson, a mountain count on 7 summits. As per his information, he reached to the summit of Mt. Vinson on 25th Nov 2008, time 3.30 and additionally as per his information he is the 2nd Nepalese person to scale Mt. Vinson in Antarctica. Therefore we entire family of Arun Treks & Expedition would like to congratulate to him on his successful ascent of the 7 summits mountain.
