Due to the unexpected changes on weather, our Summit plan has postponed. Weather in the mountain region is not favorable for summit attempt therefore as per the weather forecast for summit plan; it will be done after 20th of May only. Our full set of team is absolutely fine and taking rest at base camp and around.
Indian Army Mt. Dhaulagiri Expedition has climbed the peak successfully on 08th May 2009 at 11.30am Nepal standard time. Starting late yesterday from the Dhaulagiri Summit Camp under the leadership of Mr. CN Boudh and 5 Indian Climbers and Mr. Dawa Chhiri Sherpa and 3 Sherpas of Nepal total of 10 climbers reached to the summit today at 11.30am following North East Col traditional route.
Tourist arrival to Nepal, via air, in the month of April has increased by 15.8 percent as compared to the arrival figure of the same period last year.
Our team is preparing for summit attempt therefore they are taking rest at base camp. For the summit attempt plan Mr. Gaurav Sharma will leave base camp 9th May and have plan to reach to the TOP on 13th May morning time before 10 am. He is assisting by Lhakpa Rangdu Sherpa, 4times Everest summiteers.

As per the latest news from Everest Base Camp that Ice fall has already fixed. My team has gone up to Camp II without any problem. They made their safe way up to Camp II and also already decent to Base Camp to have couple of days rest. Now they are looking forward for route opening further up from Camp II. Route might be open from 25th Apr depending on weather in them mountain.
Every one is same and doing very good yet.
On our team, there are 5 expedition members in total, two for Mt Everest & 3 for Mt Lhotse.
Mr. Tapi Mra from Arunachal Pradesh, India. He is representing from one of the hill station state of India Arunachal Pradesh.
Namgya Sherpa known as “MECHI”, (because he is the first Mt. Everest summiteers from Mechi Zone, Nepal) a permanent resident of Lelep V.DC – 8, Taplejung district (Mt. Kanchenjunga region) & now temporary resident of Kathmandu, Nepal is a very successful Sherpa mountain guide. He has started his carrier on trekking & mountaineering expedition field as a junior trekking assistance guide but coming to at this stage he has already made 7th countdown summit on Mt Everest. He has made twice summit on north Mt. Everest in spring 2006 and he was the first person who reached to the summit of Mt. Everest south in last spring 2008.
Our final attempt was great and successful. On our final attempt, Murry Campbell, Richard Moffat from Scotland and Dawa Sangmu Bhote were reached to the summit.
Mr Chatur Tamang and Pasang Sherpa reached to the top of Mt Baruntse on 29th Oct, 7am and similarly Mr Alberto Pellizzari of Italy reached to the summit on 29th Oct, 9.30am alone with Lhakpa Sherpa.
